il Panino Cafe and Grill

I've written a few reviews for Il Panino but wanted to add another as they continue to impress me. I work in the restaurant/bar industry and have for over 10 years. It's increasingly difficult to find a place staffed with employees who take pride in their product and customer service. Il Panino has managed to staff its JP location with individuals who do both. The food is fresh, well prepared, made exactly how I order it, arrives early or on time and EVERYONE from the person who answers the phone to the delivery driver is kind, responsive, professional and friendly!

Add to this the fact that in my humble opinion they have the best pie in Boston! I am not a "foodie" I love food and drink but I find a few spots I am loyal to and stick to them because I usually end up let down when I try a new place. Il Panino is one of my go to spots! I encourage anyone looking for a great delivery or takeout option in the JP, Brookline, Mission Hill area to give them a shot. They won't disappoint

This is the best restaurant I've found that delivers to the Back Bay area in the five years I've lived here. The chicken caesar salad is one of the best I've ever had anywhere, and the pizza truly is Boston's best. Tastes like authentic New York pizza. On top of that, theyve always gotten here quick and couldn't be nicer. Absolutely outstanding. I wasn't sure whether to trust the high rating before I ordered from here, since you never know how accurate the ratings will be, but in this case Il Panino totally deserves the high rating that it has (5 stars as I'm writing this).

Pretty excellent Greek salad! Not my favorite dressing ever, but the veggies were all fresh and it wasn't just a garden salad with feta like you get at some spots - pepperoncini, kalamata olives, and a really nice pita (possibly made with pizza dough? But pretty dope!) rounded it out. My friend got the Il Panino sandwich and seemed to dig it, too. Plus the service is always friendly.

Amazing food. Definitely the best pizza in the area. Huge slices. Chicken parm was pretty great as well. Mozzarella sticks were nice and crisp with a gooey center. Delivery was on time and everything was packed neatly which can be tricky with pasts & sauce. Nothing was spilled. This is definitely one of the best places to go for good Italian on-the-go.

i used to order these all the time but had to stop as where ever they get these from premade, the fried coating was getting to salty. there was also a problem with the coating having pieces of broken chicken bone stuck in it even though there were no broken chicken pieces in my order.
great to say that all is back as it should be now!

My burger was amazing. However I wish you had a burger meal option, instead of having to choose the burger and fries separately.
